Adani Group to Invest ₹30,000 Crores in Kerala.

Adani Group has announced a massive investment of ₹30,000 crores in Kerala during the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025. The group aims to bolster infrastructure development and contribute to economic growth in the state. Karan Adani, MD of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, revealed that the investment will primarily focus on the development of ports, airport expansion, and logistics facilities.

Adani Group is working on the development of the Vizhinjam Port in Kerala, with an initial investment of ₹5,000 crores. The company plans to invest an additional ₹20,000 crores to further expand the port. Once complete, the port will have a capacity of 24,000 containers and will be connected to major global ports, playing a crucial role in enhancing international shipping routes.

Adani Group plans to invest ₹5,500 crores to expand Thiruvananthapuram Airport, increasing its capacity from 4.5 million to 12 million passengers annually. Additionally, the group intends to build a logistics and e-commerce hub in Kochi and enhance cement manufacturing capacity. These projects are expected to significantly contribute to the economic growth of Kerala.

Karan Adani emphasized that these initiatives will support the state's economy and align with Prime Minister Modi's vision of a ‘Developed India.’ Strengthening state economies and infrastructure development are key to achieving this goal, he stated.
